HEL-Performance® 4-Piston Radial Brake Caliper (1 Pair) (INTRODUCTORY PRICE)

HEL Performance brake calipers are available with a MotoGP-inspired nickel finish. Each caliper is equipped with two pad retaining pins. To replace the brake pads, simply unscrew these pins briefly and swap out the pads. The calipers should be blown out with air before reinstallation to ensure that the internal surfaces are clean. Separate bleed nipples ensure that the bleed point is located at the highest possible point on the caliper. Our brake calipers also feature a complete, circumferential fluid path. This means that fluid flows in a complete loop through the brake caliper, making it easier to completely remove air from the system.

Our brake calipers weigh 715 grams (without pads) and are equipped with stainless steel pistons. Stainless steel acts as a heat sink, dissipating the heat generated by braking. The brake fluid heats up less. The boiling point of brake fluids varies depending on the specific fluid used. Storing the heat in the pistons rather than heating the fluid improves braking performance over a longer period—perfect for the track.

We manufacture our brake calipers exclusively on state-of-the-art CNC machines from solid 6082-T6 billet aluminum. Many mass-produced brake calipers are forged, but this limits their design possibilities. The forged parts must also be machined for threads and the internal flow path, as forging is unable to produce these details. We offer the very highest product quality. The finish is breathtaking, with every part machined to CNC precision. We maximize weight savings and minimize material consumption. The calipers are designed to accommodate stock brake pads for popular supersport motorcycles. This gives you a wide selection of brake pads from nearly every manufacturer and supplier. We currently offer EBC Type FA390 brake pads as an option. In our extensive testing with renowned top riders on various racetracks in Spain and England, as well as in street use, these pads have delivered outstanding performance and results. The EP pad compound has ABE certification; the GPX pad compound is a pure racing compound without ABE certification. Comparable brake pad types are: SBS = 809, DP = DP950, Vesrah = VD-170, Ferodo = FDB2181, CL-Brakes = 1134 (Source: SBS.dk), TRW = MCB755 (Source: trwmoto.com)

Lens seals, as used by many other suppliers, are completely unnecessary as the blocks themselves have the appropriate sealing cone. We offer different installation variants for many models:

OEM, as original (standard kit): The brake lines correspond in length, number and routing to an original spare part.

Alternative,Full Length: Two lines routed directly from the brake pump, one to the right and one to the left, to the brake callipers.

Alternative, Over the Mudguard: One line is routed directly from the brake pump to the right-hand brake calliper, the second from there via the mudguard to the left-hand brake calliper.

Fits HONDA CBR1000RR-R & SP (SC82) starting in 2020 – ABS-DELETE

The lengths and fittings are designed for stock brake calipers and brake master cylinders.
Also compatible with radial brake master cylinders from, for example, HEL-Performance or other manufacturers.
If you are using different brake master cylinders, handlebars, or calipers, please contact us.

Construction: Stainless steel-sheathed PTFE braided hose, universal fit based on your specifications! Comes with a parts certificate!

Scope of delivery: 1 x stainless steel braided brake line, 4-piece set with TEE and ELBOW (so-called “H” configuration)

Please order hollow screws and sealing rings as optional extras!

When ordering, please specify the desired line color, the connection type, and any brackets you may need, as well as the part numbers for 2.1 and 2.2, or HSN / TSN from the vehicle registration certificate, and—just to be safe—the vehicle details (make, model, type, year of manufacture) as well.
