Lens seal, brass, 8x3.8 mm, 3 mm bore, 2x120° convex sealing cone.
The lens gasket is suitable for connecting certain fittings to one another. It is often used for connecting to metal lines.
Please note that the connector blocks in HEL Performance’s ABS line kits are designed such that this lens gasket is NOT required. With HEL Performance, the sealing cone is already integrated into the connector block. By its very nature, a lens gasket must seal on both sides. However, if the sealing cone is already present in the connector—as is the case with HEL Performance—only one surface needs to be sealed. In our view, this provides greater operational reliability. It is also likely easier to handle during installation.
In some applications, however, a lens gasket is required. That is why we offer it as an accessory.
